How Long Do Body Sculpting Results Last?

Allure Laser Studio offers three body sculpting procedures, each of them with different pros, cons, and target areas.

Everybody wants their services to last as long as possible, but the answer to how long results last isn’t quite as straightforward as you might believe. Here’s what you need to know.

Which treatment did you get?

Here at Allure Laser Studio, we offer Emsculpt NEO, truSculpt ID, and Morpheus 8.

  • Emsculpt Neo lasts 6 – 12 months on average.
  • Tru-sculpt can be permanent, if you put in the work to maintain the results.
  • Morpheus 8 results can last 1 to 3 years.

Why the dramatic differences? Each offers a different purpose. Emsculpt Neo is the equivalent of doing 20,000 crunches over the course of 30 minutes, eliminating fat and building muscles. Trusculpt iD kills fat cells. Morpheus8 helps remove double chins and bulging bellies by tightening up the skin.

Don’t try to compare them: you’ll be comparing apples to oranges. Instead, understand that because they target different issues the body responds to them in different ways.

Which treatment area did you target?

Most body sculpting techniques work best in areas with what’s called “pinchable fat” or areas where subcutaneous fat, the type of fat that lies just under the skin. Areas with more subcutaneous fat hold results longer.

The abdomen, love handles, thighs, and back fat all hold their results for a long time, as does the double chin area.

Arms and legs don’t tend to hold their results quite as long.

What does your diet and exercise routine look like?

You can’t keep the results of your body sculpting treatment if you eat mountains of fast food and never hit the gym. Your results will depend on your ability to manage these two areas of your health. You’ll also need a healthy sleep schedule to keep your metabolism strong.

If you’re already borderline on the BMI required for treatment to work you might expect results to fade a little faster.

No treatment can replace clean eating. Take care of your body, and it will take care of you.

Did you schedule your maintenance treatments?

Almost every form of body sculpting will require maintenance treatments. Some require at least one maintenance treatment every year. You’ll want to speak to your aesthetician when you take your treatment to know which maintenance schedule to pursue.

Bodies tend to want to change, and sometimes they need a little nudge to keep changing the way we want them to!

Nevertheless, maintenance treatments aren’t a big deal. You’re just planning 30 minutes of you-time that help you look and feel your best. What could be better than that?
