We understand! That’s why we’re taking a moment to explain what you can expect during, throughout, and after your Emsculpt NEO treatments.
What does Emsculpt NEO feel like?
We’ve heard Emsculpt NEO described a number of ways:
- Like doing a bunch of crunches
- Like a hot stone massage
- Like doing a bunch of squats
- Kind of strange
We’ve never heard any complaints about pain. The muscle contractions are easy to tolerate, and the warming sensation brought to you by RF and HIFEM+ energies helps to relieve pain. Most people read a book, read a magazine, or rest their eyes while enjoying the treatment. It can be a very relaxing thirty minutes.
Afterward, you might feel some soreness from the lactic acid buildup. It should fade with a bit of time, just like the buildup from any workout.
Does Emsculpt NEO have side effects?
Emsculpt NEO has no harmful side effects as long as you’re working with trained technicians who know how to help you use the machine correctly. If you work with someone who isn’t licensed or trained on the machine, you might overstress your muscles, even to the point of getting a hernia.
What happens after four Emsculpt NEO treatments?
You can expect tighter, toned muscles in the treatment area and the confidence that comes from looking and feeling the way you want to look and feel. You might even want to target other problem areas.
You should not expect magic…if you didn’t have any abs whatsoever before Emsculpt NEO, you’re not going to have a six-pack after it. Nevertheless, you will see noticeable improvements. The clients who see the most definition tend to be the clients who already have a regular workout routine.
