VTone Appointment

What to Expect During Your VTone Appointment

When we think about fitness and core strength, we usually focus only on the muscles we can see.

However, some of the most critical muscles in the body are hidden from view. This is especially true of our pelvic muscles.

Factors like pregnancy, aging, and high-impact sports can weaken these muscles over time, leading to issues like urinary incontinence or a loss of core stability. Strengthening your pelvic floor can help with these problems.

You may have heard of Kegels, at-home exercises you can do to help your pelvic floor. Here at Allure Laser Studio we offer a more powerful version of that exercise with VTone: a high-performance, automated version of the exercise.

Here’s what to expect if you decide VTone is right for you.

What should you expect at your Vtone consultation?

We take the time to understand your specific concerns.

  • Are you “sneeze-leaking?”
  • Do you feel a sense of frequent urgency?
  • Do you merely hope to improve your core support?

We also take the time to explain the technology and to answer your questions about it.

We’ll give you a quick overview right here though: VTone uses electrical muscle stimulation. Other treatments target elastin or collagen production. VTone instead sends gentle electrical pulses that cause the muscles to contract and relax.

This essentially gives your muscle a work out at a speed and intensity that’s impossible to achieve through manual exercise alone.

In some cases, we may even recommend both types of procedures. Sometimes they work together, hand in hand. It just depends on your history and goals, which is what makes the initial consultation so important.

What is it like to receive a VTone procedure?

The VTone procedure is performed in a private, comfortable room. We use a specialized applicator which we insert directly into the vaginal canal. The applicator then delivers targeted EMS energy to the pelvic floor muscles.

Most clients describe the sensation as a series of strong but painless muscle contractions. As the session progresses, the provider can adjust the intensity to ensure it’s effective while remaining well tolerated. The procedure is non-surgical and does not require any anesthesia or numbing agents.

The typical session lasts 20-30 minutes.

There is zero downtime. You may feel some muscular fatigue, as you will of essentially performed the equivalent of thousands of Kegels in one sitting. We do recommend a short 48-hour recovery window before resuming intimacy so that your muscles have time to recover.

How many procedures will you receive before seeing results?

We recommend six to eight sessions, and we typically schedule them out once a week. The idea is to build strength and endurance in incremental fashion. Maintenance sessions can help you keep the results you begin to see.

Ready to regain control?

Pelvic floor weakness is a common reality, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. VTone offers a path back to confidence and control.
